When steps are skipped to fill quotas, bad results often follow. Unfortunately, there are “steps” that occur before individuals enter the training and apprentice phases: study habits, persistence, interpersonal skills and accumulation of knowledge. Alas for DEI, lots of these traits are learned from parents and peers and communities before aspirants reach the steps of formal training. Then the social and economic “planners” want to insert them into the skilled trades and professions. Yep. Heard it too. Nothing he said was inaccurate. The really sad and stupid thing is also, the City of Chicago providing the park green space for this monstrosity to be built and then to have it stand there, not even half done, looking like a war zone. On what planet does a City allow the construction of a massive building without the proper funding readily available? And…if that happened to a common developer…the City would be up their rear-end with fines, leans and court orders.
