Interesting enough I have even seen the usual liberal type of posters criticizing the Governor as well. Personally if I were Trump, knowing he will never get Illinois’ Electoral Votes, simply wash his hands of Illinois once and for all. 4 Rick 8 months ago One only needs to compare the behavior of Cuomo in NY to jabba. Cuomo is a doer, now rock star of logic, coolness and ingenuity. Pritzker has proven himself to be someone who has never worked, never solved physical problems, never measured and cut a board or anything. He is acting like the spoiled whiny blaming little child that he is. I’ve been watching cuomos daily talks, all business. Pritzker is that whiny guy at work that is useless, the product of the silver spoon an inbred elitist that wouldn’t know how to rip out his own toilets so he… Read more » 4 debtsor 8 months ago Reply to Rick Cuomo is able to keep his TDS under control. His comments early last year about taxing the rich until they all leave NY is a bad strategy, and it has caused a massive budget shortfall in his state. He still nominally blames Trump’s tax cuts for NY’s 2.5B budget shortfall; but after his obligatory virtue signaling, he actually gets to the substance – NY is over reliant on a small handful of wealthy taxpayers who fund the state, and god forbid they leave if they’re overtaxed. Jabba should listen to that speech over and over again, and actually comprehend what… Read more » 2 Rick 8 months ago Reply to debtsor Putting aside that Cuomos fiscal and social agenda is right out of the democratic playbook, that’s not my point, we all know that. But if you watch his daily briefing, he’s doing what a good governor should do and doing it very well, explaining in minutia the workings of this problem by his organization, the contracts, the supply chain of masks, logistics, safety, etc. accomplishment of anything occurs in the details. Good stuff that matters and instills comfort in the public. I’ve heard nothing from Jabba other than blame and pass the buck whiny-ness. When the opportunity was handed to… Read more » 4 debtsor 8 months ago Reply to Rick 100% agree with you. 3 debtsor 8 months ago Jabba is back at it again, calling Trump a carnival barker yelling from the cheat seats. So one billionaire is having a pissing match with another one on Twitter. I’ve seen this one before, and Bloomberg, where is he now? Why isn’t Jabba sacrificing some of his immense wealth to help the state? I could use $50,000 Jabba, it’s pennies to a billionaire like you. How about you give some of your wealth me a guy like me, you fat scumbag 3 Goodgulf Greyteeth 8 months ago I wonder exactly what Governor Tax Cheat has asked for from the Feds, and been told, “Nope, can’t have any of those. Won’t tell you when you’ll get them” Gowns, gloves, masks and respirators that are going to places where they are actually immediately needed? A couple of 1,000 bed emergency hospitals, and a Navy medical ship, because Illinois’ hospital infrastructure can’t handle the hundred or so of the 1,050 people who actually have the Wuhan Bat-Soup Virus in Illinois, and require hospitalization. A couple Marine Regiments because the Illinois National Guard isn’t capable of providing the support required by… Read more » 3 Fed up neighbor 8 months ago HELP WANTED GOVERNOR OF ILLINOIS QUALIFICATIONS LEADERSHIP 1 Old Spartan 8 months ago What a foolish strategy to harp at the President and the federal government when those are the two parties that can offer the most help. Pritzker looks as inept as Lightfoot– blame them for the problem and then say – Oh– hey by the way help me out. Is it any wonder that stories are starting to pop up that this is a blue state problem. NY, Washington, California, Illinois. The only thing their no-purpose ass-covering accomplishes is fueling the suspicion that Dems are playing politics with this. Look at Tennessee. Nashville goes on lock down, but the rest of… Read more » 8 Fed up neighbor 8 months ago Governor, if you’re going on national TV again, stop patting yourself on the back and picking fights with the president. Stick to indisputable facts, which are mostly on your side. Presenting cold hard facts is more than enough to make your case that the White House continues to fall far short. I’ve called you “Gov. Chillax” in the past. When you appear boastful and rattled these days, that rattles me. And if I’m rattled, imagine the message you’re sending to everyone else. /rant from capital fax today 2 Juicy Smollier 8 months ago Oh no, there’s an “INCREASE in cases” (duh duh duuuuuuh) … yes, there is also an increase in common cold cases, in common flu cases. Merkel got it, Trudeau got it, Rand Paul has it … know what? They’ll be just fine. What a media fraud this is. Pritzker’s got bigger fish to fry, no taxes now, more delinquent property taxes coming, bond market in trouble due to economic shutdown … Covid will be the LEAST of Illinois’ and Pritzker’s problems, guaranteed. … next thing you know they’re going to tweet that the President created the virus himself in a… Read more » 5 debtsor 8 months ago Hey fatso JB, how about less twittering, and more leading. Trump is 1,000 miles away in DC. You’re 50 miles away from me in Chicago. I’m so sick of this guy’s whining. other governor’s are applauding trump’s effort while JB and lightfoot just can’t help themselves. 7 Wirepoints Original Stories Will Illinois’ two new homebuyer assistance programs really help anybody? – Quicktake December 2, 2020 Governor JB Pritzker’s administration on Tuesday announced two new programs to encourage home ownership.
