President Trump outlines AI order, calls Gov. JB Pritzker ‘totally unreasonable’ – Center Square

The president signed an executive order Thursday to provide a central source of approval for AI projects instead of sending them to individual states. “When they need approvals of things they have to come to one source. They can’t go to California, New York and various other places like Illinois with Pritzker, who’s a totally unreasonable person,” Trump said.

This article states two examples of where JB authorized AI and makes it sounds as if there is only good to come from it. However, it does not say what kind of oversight there will be. Put as many rules in place as you want, but if no one watches the hen house it doesn’t do any good. Look at Madigan and Ryan for starters. There need to be standards before complete buffoons start writing their own handbooks on managing AI. It also appears the DJT admin will require these centers have to be self-sufficient and generate their own power.… Read more »
