Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon on AM560: Why We Need to “Relentlessly” Make the Blue State-Red State Case
Glennon raised the stakes of the moment in broader civilizational terms: “This election in Illinois is not about the usual pedestrian issues… it’s about nothing less than whether Western civilization survives in our democratic republic of America because [the left], just on the open border alone, will destroy the country, and now they’re bringing in the jihadists, frankly, into the party.” Audio and summary linked here.Audio and summary linked here.
New Trier High School made national headlines nine years ago as a “canary in a coal mine” for political indoctrination in public schools. The canaries lived.
Among the consequences of economic growth that badly lags national averages are billions of lost revenue every year. Yet denial reigns in Illinois, fueling the vicious cycle of demand for higher taxes.
There were 300 National Guard deployed per the Chicago Tribune. Unless they do math like CPS, it is hard to imagine that they paid $66K per guard for the month. On top of that, the federal government pays 75-80% of the costs of the Illinois Guard. I think that justifies a president using the Guard over the objections of a do-nothing governor.
It is just like Illinois grifters to take credit for something done by someone else.
And why didn’t Dick retire yet?
National Guard in Illinois: Questions on cost of deployment grow

Hilarious!
Money well spent.
How much have the illegal immigrants cost?
That’s an inconvenient fact that the Dicks of the Democratic Party don’t want mentioned. Dick also needs to explain why he blocked the release of the Epstein files several years ago. That’s another inconvenient fact that Dick can’t get away from fast enough as he finally slithers out the door to leave another DSA like Raj, Kelly or Smokey Stratton to pick up where he left off.
