Gov. JB Pritzker calls it “ethics” reform.
It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
While this new advisory referendum could be nothing more than a political distraction, it could also be that lawmakers are gauging Illinoisans’ appetite for another bite at a progressive income tax hike – this time with lower property taxes as a sweetener.
At $1.5 million per job, the new incentive package from the state is at least 15 times the norm. For this much money, the state could have just handed out a million bucks to 827 people, instead of creating 550 jobs.

sure…just like the private sector…if a junior manager fails miserably that usually calls for a big promotion…..the same in the public sector, i.e. president O’bama and possibly Mr. Pritzker….with Illinois #51 fiscally (behind Puerto Rico); #1-#2 in overall tax burden; and #1-#2 in political corruption (i.e. trillions in public sector, aka political supporters, massive “pensions”)….along with massive crime (all due to actions other than those by our elected officials)…..calls definitely for promotion to be President of the United States.

There is no surprise here. Pritzker has been planning to run for President from the start. He will sell himself to the MSM as the brilliant Governor who righted the financial mess of Illinois (with mountains of Federal handouts stolen from taxpayers in Red states) and defeated the Wuhan Virus in Illinois with firm and tough decision making. Those of us with eyes and a brain here in Illinois know that JB isn’t presidential material but that doesn’t prevent the Democrat Propaganda Media from relentlessly promoting him for President. Little to do with his lousy job? Completely disagree. Hypocrisy is a red flag in politics. If an obese, unhealthy person is dictating health orders when he clearly can’t even take of himself, that is hypocrisy. How can anyone possibly take him seriously.
