Pritzker administration continues to deny Illinois’ population decline – Center Square

“There has never been more people living in the state of Illinois than there is today,” Manar said. “The Census is the Census. There’s a thing called the Post Enumeration Survey which shows Illinois gained population. It’s a correction. And it’s a real correction from the Census Bureau. So I just want to dispel that right away. Illinois is not losing people. Illinois is gaining people.”

Titanic passenger from Illinois: Captain, the ship is listing severely and my pants are wet to the waist. Is the ship going to sink?
Titanic Captain: Nonsense. You’re imagining the list and you just pee’d on yourself.
Titanic passenger from Illinois: Oh OK. Thank you for correcting my misunderstanding.

As more and more of IL towns and cities devolve into ‘urban prairie grass’ will Democrats, fully supported by the legacy media in it’s gaslighting efforts, still say ‘IL is growing’? Simply search the internet on urban decay video’s and a LOT of it is in IL already.

Can’t wait for JB to start stocking the hundreds of dying rural communities with people from all over the world. It’s coming.

I am waiting for Manar to retort something like “The moving van numbers can not be relied upon because the incoming immigrants do not use moving vans.”

Too bad it’s not possible to tell the political affiliation of those who left. My guess is at least 75% Republican. Democrats should be happy. Soon there will not be a single Republican left in IL. Everyone I know that left IL would vote Republican, myself included. Those who remain can enjoy the consequences of being a totally blue progressive state with massive debts, high unemployment, loss of businesses, and reliance on gambling, cannabis, and abortion for revenue.

Separately, Andy also insisted that Santa Claus is real, because the Tooth Fairy told him so. Additionally, he insisted that JB Pritzker is 6 feet tall and weighs a svelte 175 pounds.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
