Pritzker administration optimistic about budget plan targeting homelessness – WAND (Decatur)

The governor's Fiscal Year 2024 budget includes more than $350 million to provide homeless prevention services and expand emergency housing options through Home Illinois, an initiative of the Illinois Department of Human Services. DHS Homelessness Chief Christine Haley stressed that racial equity will be at the forefront of this plan.
