In light of this mask mandate from Pritzker, shouldn’t the mimes who do the sign language routine at his press conferences be required to wear gloves?

I’ll continue to not wear a mask entering stores. I say put the burden on them to approach every customer individually. If they have to heard cats instead of doing store work they will tire of it. I went into CVS yesterday, all of a sudden customers have masks, I didn’t, nobody said anything to me. Freedom was never something given to you by govt in America, it was always something to be just taken. The bill of rights doesn’t give you those rights, it only codifies your god given right to take all of them, just take things back.… Read more »

No, the trouble is convincing the low IQ voters in Cook County/Chicago to vote for someone other than a demoRAT.

If we could just get a Republican Gov, much of Covidstan in Illinois would collapse. That alone would be worth it.

Yes. When an elected leader doesn’t do what you want you should resort to violence. Then again, maybe if enough people believe the same as you he could be voted out at the next election? Never mind, that’s crazy talk. Proceed with the knuckle dragging.

PPF you take things way to seriously, it was meant to be sarcastic, do you ever remember when you were a kid growing up if you were born in the 50’s like me your dad would say certain things to wake your ass up and take attention to something, but he never really actually did anything violent against you. Chill man!

Wow Porky and his lackey lash out if you try to discuss his arbitrary action. I suspect the Democrats are just warming up. Next they’ll come up with some stunt like a constitutional amendment to stop criticism. Talk back and you’ll be punished! Not afraid, we’ll take it out on your children. Knock knock ? It’s general Spanky and his gang.

The problem with Judy’s notion of going along to get along is this: if the effectiveness of masks cannot be demonstrated, which I think is obvious from the available evidence, then there is no scientific/medical reason to mandate them. The mandate is therefore not about public health. The most compelling alternative is that it’s about politics/power.

How will accepting the irrational demands of an unrestrained executive get us through this crisis faster?

Over a year ago Pritzker told us we would beat the virus when we had treatments, contact tracing and vaccines.

Well, were you lying or incompetent Jabba? I believe the answer is yes.

A statewide concern: Illinois’ population decline outpaces neighboring states – Wirepoints on ABC20 Champaign

“We are not in good shape” Wirepoints’ Ted Dabrowski told ABC 20 Champaign during a segment on Illinois’ latest population losses. Illinois was one of just three states to shrink in the 2010-2020 period and has lost another 300,000 people since then. Ted says things need to change. “It’s too expensive to live here, there aren’t enough good jobs and nobody trusts the government anymore. There’s just other places to go where you can be more satisfied.”
