Pritzker calls concerns about changes to Right of Conscience Act ‘Facebook fakery’ – Center Square

During a debate in committee Tuesday, state Rep. C.D. Davidsmeyer and bill sponsor state Rep. Robyn Gabel went back and forth. “My goal here is to save lives,” Gabel said. “And not allow people to make their own health care decisions,” Davidsmeyer said. “I understand.”

If the Right of Consince Act has its provisions for conscientious objection eliminated, is it really an act at all?

“Facebook fakery” LOL who thinks these things up for Pritzker? However even funnier is that some people accept this as fact hook, line and sinker. I for one will remember the phrase though to use in other situations such as like when Pritzker says something to the effect of “The Illinois budget is balanced” I will simply reply “More Facebook fakery from Pritzker.”

A quick reading of the c a p f a x comments section is all you need to know about what they think. JB is just telling the residents of the state what they want to hear. They hate you, they ridicule you, they dismiss your belief system as mere peasantry, and they want to punish you.

They might actually be stupid enough to lose in the next election. That says something.

They don’t care if they loose, the damage is already done, some of it irreversible.

The Democrat party in Illinois is filled with Radical, unhinged, females who exist only in their own echo-chamber. I believe they have become so emboldened due to the fact that the voting cheat is now sealed with the vote by mail, ballot harvesting, drive-thru voter registration – you name it. The redistricting will also work to their advantage. It is past time to Saul Alinsky them back- they have had the bully pulpit far too long. This is the party whose ends justify the means. They don’t play fair – they play dirty.

Regarding State Rep. Robyn Gabel’s debate comments. Who the heck do politicians like Robyn Gabel think they are, saying “My goal here is to save lives, And not allow people to make their own health care decisions”. How dare you! This is the typical Democrat politician’s mindset. These politicians will never make decisions in the public’s best interest and should not be making laws! If these politicians were so concerned about saving lives, they would not have blocked Doctors and Pharmacists from prescribing HCQ and Ivermectin for Covid infected people. Depriving Covid Infected people life saving treatments, is the norm… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
