Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Other cities and towns in the US were looted and burned.

BLM and Anifa burning and looting almost every major city in America along with dozens of smaller cities and towns and ut was called peaceful protests. What went on in DC today was called violent rioting by right wingers. The media is a disgrace. Pritzger is a pig and an absolute disgrace. But…but…on ABC evening news with George Stephanopolis he interviewed Democrats representing Portland OR, Minneapolis MN, and Seattle WA and they called for unity and peacefully resolving differences. They Joined Maxine Waters in this plea.
Let’s see now… According to CNN there were about 74,223,000 people that voted for Trump. Of that number, Rasmussen polling shows that approximately 75% of those voters believe the election was stolen. That amounts to approximately 55,667,250 U.S. citizens nationwide that believe that the domestic enemies of America, the U.S. Constitution in particular, have illegally seized control. Agree, this is only a warning shot Americans have had enough. One more thing a young lady was shot and killed very very sad, but we’re is the outrage about this if this were a BLM omg they would be burning down D.C right now.
By the standards set by the mainstream media, yesterday’s events in DC were very peaceful gatherings. They don’t even qualify as ‘protests”. After all, I recall a CNN screenshot last summer of burning Kenosha WI labled as “mostly peaceful protests”. There were no blocks of looted and burning buildings in DC yesterday so – by the established media standards – the DC event was barely even a peaceful gathering.
Pritzker is all worried about the rioting in DC. But when the Chicago Police were getting relentlessly pelted during the riots over the summer and the Columbus statue fiasco, there was no such handwringing. Far greater damage done to Chicago over those days than a few hours in DC. And the cops did not pull the guns out in Chicago, but against conservatives, out they come..What a piece of___t.
