Until the mayor of Dallas switched to the GOP a few weeks ago, the largest city with a Republican mayor was Ft. Worth, TX, at # 13. The next largest is Oklahoma City, OK at #21.

Why not send s some to Evanston? In addition to the usual freebies they can pick up on some reparations at the same time.

Straight from the mouth of a Dem pol. Advertise Sanctuary status then try to convert a local issue to a national issue instead of resinding a failed local policy.

Just the other day Pritzker said “Illinois is a welcoming state” referring to the migrant situation. JB, you and every one that voted for you asked for this. What’s the big deal? I personally think all the Chicago ado is rather humorous considering it is what the Chicagoans wanted and voted for. Enjoy Chicago you got what you wanted.

Isn’t it true that blue city Denver is sending busses to Chicago? That seems to get little notice. Can’t Brandon and JB talk to the Denver mayor?

“They’re here legally, they have refuge in the United States, for the moment. My family were refugees to this country too. We ought to welcome them, put them through a process. And if they don’t meet the requirements, they should be sent back.”

LOL, they’d rather sell roses on at busy intersection in Palatine than go back to their third world country. They’re never going back, they’re here forever, and they and their children will be an underclass for a century.

What a whining, groveling, sniveling, boot licking Virtue Signaler. Pritzker had better be careful because such behavior may tarnish his Pritzker For President 2024 campaign.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
