Pritzker Gives Chinese Company Gotion $125 million With No Work Shown – Press Release

“This deal is the most offensive, outrageous thing I have ever heard of! While people were busy with the holidays and figuring out how to afford a nice Christmas, Governor Pritzker gave away massive amounts of our money to a foreign company that hasn’t done anything to earn it,” said State Representative Dan Caulkins.

Hey, Illinois is known for this, those who are old enough to remember, I think it was Thompson who gave great deal, no taxes, millions in incentives to Motorola to build massive buildings in Harvard Ill. What 2 years later Motorola cellphone plant went belly up. Did Illinois ask for money back or demand the property be restored back to valuable farm land, NOPE!!! Current owner, not Motorola being sued by the Canadian government, US government, and the State of Illinois, any money at all recovered, again NOPE 😤

Naturally the pension funding demands are ignored because of spending like this. Wouldn’t it be nice if just once the headlines would read something like “Pritzker Gives Needed Pension Funds to the Chinese.”

Irrespective of the merits of the Gotion ‘Deal’, the unilateral distribution of taxpayer funds by the Gov Pritzker without any performance on Gotions part seems really weird. Has this deal agreement been made public? Is this legal?

Pritzker needed a win and was happy to spend taxpayer money to get it. End of story.

Down payment on CCP support for the Prtizker for President 2024 campaign. For Pritzker’s down payment with other people’s money the CCP will hack, spam, bribe and twist the media to ensure his election. Then, just like Joe Biden before him, the CCP will own a President. Say ‘cheese’ to the CCP ‘weather balloon’ cameras.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
