Pritzker grows state spending most among past 5 Illinois governors – Illinois Policy

Not only did Gov. JB Pritzker increase spending from $38.5 billion to $53.2 billion through six state budgets – growing more than any of the four prior state governors in terms of dollars – but he also outspent inflation.

Nowhere does the article mention the hiring spree Waddles went on like his hero in DC, Uncle Autopen, to mask the dismal unemployment numbers. I’d be curious as to how much that alone has ballooned Comrade Balloons budget

It’s not his money he’s spending. When he uses his own money to buy, let’s say a toilet, the purse strings tighten
