Pritzker heads to California to promote Illinois film industry, fundraise for convention and abortion rights – Chicago Sun-Times

Gov. JB Pritzker, along with Illinois film officials and stakeholders, plans to meet with major studios and distributors to discuss business and film industry investment in Illinois and to tout the state’s film industry tax credit, which helped rake in $700 million in film production expenditures in 2022.

Its a nice spring break trip paid for by all of us. First Class to LA, likely a very nice hotel, meals (of course) and rented suburbans with his security team… I travel to LA often for work and it is far from inexpensive to do so, but hey, who cares, its just tax dollars…
