Pritzker: Illinois will work to protect preventive health care for residents, following Texas ruling – Chicago Tribune/MSN

“Today’s decision out of Texas gutting the preventive services mandate is a devastating blow to millions of Americans who receive lifesaving treatment each year thanks to screenings and preventive care,” Gov. JB Pritzker said. He called it “another sad example of political grandstanding overshadowing common sense.”

All JB does 24 hours a day is political grandstanding. It’s all he knows. And to prove it he accuses somebody else of, you guessed it, political grandstanding.

Nobody is denying anyone preventative treatment. Gay men still have access to the HIV prevention medicine they need. They just have to pay for it themselves. The courts said that private employers against the gay lifestyle can’t be forced to pay to encourage a gay lifestyle. Don’t worry, before long, liberal states will argue that employers shouldn’t have to pay for pregnancy either, when a cheaper, safer and more employer friendly solution is available: abortion.
