Illinois Senate Democrats reportedly received $3 million each. Illinois House Democrats got $1.5 million each. Republicans got nothing. That means 4.3 million Illinoisans, or 1 in 3, was excluded from the pork projects their taxes supported in other legislative districts.
So happy my tax dollars can be sent elsewhere and used for absolutely anything other than to benefit me, my family or community. Feel more like a surf today. Way to go you criminals. We’re here from the government and we’re here to help…
Ever read the Bible or at least listen to a minister? There’s something in there strongly suggesting you should care for your “brother.” Apparently you thought the concept is not to bother.
As I recall, the Bible tells individuals how to behave toward others. I do not recall the verse that instructs people to form a coalition to induce government to take over that duty? Perhaps you can point me to where the Bible suggests such a thing.
Some people go through life always searching for misery and inevitably find it. If you’d only put half of that energy in search of happiness you might find that as well. A person’s life starts to take on the attributes of how you think of it. Spread some cheer now and then, and you’ll find it returned more often, I’ll bet. Look elsewhere for the battles you wish to start. This guy has better things to do.

A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
