Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Whenever some politician starts talking about “values”, it is almost always the case that he does not want to mention any facts– like unemployment, property taxes, criminal activity, population loss, business exits, etc. That is obviously the case with our Governor and the failed state of Illinois.
And those values would be … abortion, gambling, pot, sex-changes for children, men in women’s formerly safe spaces, the end of girl’s/women’s sports and of course, destruction of America via illegal immigration.

Well that, and gerrymandering the state so that your party is assured a majority, having a disorganized and ineffective opposition party, and driving out conservative voters to other states with your extortionate taxation and corrupt government helps.

You can’t blame him for thinking that everything is roses and unicorns for IL Dems. He’s surrounded by sycophants in Springfield and an IL press corps that doesn’t challenge him. He only sees and hears the “good” things (per his values) that are happening in IL. He doesn’t meet with “disgruntled” residents because he truly doesn’t believe we exist. How could we, after all? It’s about values and they’re delivering on them.

What arrogance! I have not heard a single apology from Pritzker, his gerrymandered Democrat lawmakers destroying our state, or Brandon Johnson. Delivering on values to him means ignoring or worse, belittling the values of Illinois residents in favor of “delivering “ to special interest groups that are especially interested in lining their pockets with free cash.
Pritzker tariffs are harming the “working families” he professes to protect. His polls reflect what people think of his values. Spending billions on illegal immigrants, now to include tuition assistance, while raising taxes and fees on citizens and legal residents is destructive, unfair and not reflective of most people’s values. The guy is full of crap.
Pritzker’s values are about being pro criminals, pro illegals above law abiding IL US citizens. He spends money IL doesn’t have and raises taxes on taxpayers to pay for his far left agenda. Education is in the cellar. Yes, please look at IL for what not to do.
