Pritzker pushes for nationwide gun ban while Illinois’ law challenged in courts – Center Square

“We’ve banned assault weapons. We’ve banned high capacity magazines. We’ve banned switches that turn regular guns into automatic weapons and here in Illinois those are things that will keep people safe and alive, but we need a national ban,” Gov. JB Pritzker said.

It would be far more beneficial and productive to just ban Leftist politicians like Pritzker, who on one hand wants to empower criminals and on the other hand make law abiding citizens defenseless against his criminal friends.

I’ll be somewhat more futuristic. Phasers with no stun capabilities-Photon grenades and torpedoes and renting the Death Star for a few hours and of course a cloaking device..

If a gangbanger has it, it isn’t banned.

Law abiding citizens are the new Palestinians who to defend themselves from common criminals as well as government thuggery. Pritzger’s tribal homeland has two sets of firearm law- guns for the favored and disarmament for the minority. We have all seen the terrrible atrocities against the oppressed in that land during the past few days. I lived through the Chicago race riots of 1967-1968: I saw tanks rolling down the streets where I lived and fires all around me. I saw a paint shop torched by black rioters which resulted in cans of paints bursting in 20 ft high sheets… Read more »

Nationwide gun ban is Dead On Arrival as gun rights are continuously expanded in Red States. I believe all of our surrounding states have open carry or constitutional concealed carry; and there are fewer and fewer restrictions on law abiding citizens owning guns. You think JB from IL is gonna convince them (or force them!) to give up their guns? LOL He is truly delusional, he spends all his time on Twitter reading leftwing nonsense, he is clueless how most of the country thinks.

Not so much clueless, just his hubris in his desire to keep us ‘proles’ in check…

Pritzker is running for President meaning he could care less about what Illinois citizens want because he now represents the national Democrat party.

Democrats love criminals , terrorists and pedophiles. Most of all they love disarmed ,compliant tax slaves.

That statement will look really good during his run for president. But then again we can never forget how stupid democrat voters are.

If this corrupt Guv Pigchop is some how elected Prez I will be leaving for Canada sooner than later.

Don’t forget Pigchop was one of two(2) corrupt Dems, the other being Jesse Jackson Jr., who bid on Obama’s Senate seat when Blago was holding “the golden ticket”.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
