Pritzker is mentioned in Politico along with others in this article if Biden drops out.

JB would be the largest president since William Howard Taft. Not what you’d call photogenic. With all the antisemitism among college students and progressives and progressive professors, especially in blue states, how is that going to help his chances? Not a lot of votes for him in red states.

Yes he may be big around the waist but he isn’t very tall at 5′ 7″ and is something the photographers work on angles to hide his short height. Seeing Pritzker in person is quite a sight if your into beach ball shaped individuals so large yes but also short.

“My best guess is that they push Biden to resign the presidency now. If Kamala is who they want to go with, that helps boost her until the election” While that certainly seems like a decent strategy considering the cards that the Dems are holding, it doesn’t seem like someone like Joe Biden (or any other 40 year lifer politician) will be open to giving up any power. That’s admitting that he was wrong and unable to perform the duties. Something that our politicians almost never do on their own. My best guess is that you’ll have to pry Biden’s… Read more »

I agree that he’ll be the nominee but it won’t be him fighting for it. Joe ain’t fighting for anything. He’s not entirely senile but he clearly struggles. My father before he passed was like joe, sort of with it but highly suggestable. That being said, Joe’s not running anything. It’s Jill who gives access to Biden and the cabal in power running him that won’t give up power. They stole the election and they know they did, that’s why they get so upset at the mere suggestion they hold power illegitimately; Biden’s rare moment of lucidity last night was… Read more »

Jill had to assist Joe down the three stairs of the debate stage afterwards. That is the guy who has to make the a decision in less that 7 minutes in a nuclear confrontation. Could he even get his CPAP off in that time? How do you get the ‘Rules and Bylaws Committee’ to intervene?

Think of this: 72 minutes after the button is pushed, 5 billion people around the world will be dead, and the remaining ones will wish they were. I think the majority of people have no idea of the situation that has unfolded.

And that man meantime still has ability to cause a nuclear war, or WWIII. Biden won’t resign presidency, or decline nomination, unless Jill consents; unlikely, unless her payoff is huge.

Isn’t Hillary still in the background seething with anger that Trump took what she thought was hers. Round 2 perhaps? (just speculating here)

She just needs to figure out how to make Biden give up his presidency along with a party (that’s obsessed with everyone’s skin color) that would be ok with skipping over a female black Vice President. Remember, this is the same party that was ok with Biden picking a life time Supreme Court Justice that met the skin color qualification before any other qualifications. Can the party that’s hemorrhaging the black vote really afford to cast her aside? I don’t see that happening unless both Joe and Kamala agreed which makes the odds even lower.

I’ve read almost every pundit’s commentary I can find. I was up until 2 am last night voraciously reading everything. and again this morning. Now, I can’t read everything, but in my hours of basking in this W, I found exactly 1 person, just one, only 1 person who even suggested JB Pritzker as a presidential contender, and it was only to say “no way in hell”. JB’s thinks he’s going to be president only in his own mind. No one else is giving him any credibility.

I don’t read legacy aka fake news media but at your suggestion, I did the search. You are correct, there are a number of mentions of JB as a replacement, but they all appear to be different versions of the same news story, all with the same candidates listed and the candidates are even listed in the same order, leading me to believe that’s a rewrite of the day’s talking point memo. But everywhere else I’ve read, including many democrat twitter pundits who appear to have some authority, JB is very, very low, for all the reasons we’ve discussed: He’s… Read more »

George will was a Gina Raimondo fan and wanted her to be Biden’s VP choice. She also helped solve the pension crisis in Rhode Island as state treasurer and as governor was a tax cutter and deregulator. She’d make a great president.

Thanks for sharing. Good to see JB is low on the list, but I think that at 2 cents he’s still way overpriced.

If the Obama cabal wants Pritzker to be elected, he might win, with the help of his billions, the Regime Media, the Deep State, and good old vote fraud.

Wow. What media sucking garbage. Fatboy probably peed his Depends Diapers after watching Biden’s senility in the debate and now dreams that his seat in the white house is so close he can touch it. The Pritzker for President 2024 campaign just exploded with excitement and spewed it’s joyous mess all over the USA. He might have even re-broken his leg again with morbidly obese jiggling and jiggy dancing.

That’s funny, I’ve been calling him Governor Blowhard for awhile. How anyone could watch that trainwreck last night and not be terrified that Dementia Joe has a few more months as President is beyond me. He was out of sight for more than a week getting ready and he was absolutely incoherent at times. Dr. Jill should be tried for elder abuse. Governor Blowhard is assembling his campaign team for an emergency session. He wants the presidency more than a triple bacon cheeseburger!

WW3 is the scary part with biden still there……he’s pissing a lot of people off. Our power grid is in pretty bad shape also….we will suffer is something happens not these politicians…..but biden is to busy giving money where he should not instead of taking care of our country! He is useless like most progressive dems!!

Pritzker you are a selfish blowhard and you are most definitely looking out for yourself you are salivating all over yourself over the possibility of getting the DNC nomination if Biden drops out, how the hell you ever got re-elected is beyond my wildest imagination. Pritzker you are also nothing but a power BABY.

Approx $334M for both elections helped. Plus Gov. Newsom was babbling about something after the debate I think on C-Span so he may enter if the possibility arises.

CNN reports the DNC Bosses getting hammered for not replacing Biden. Would love to see Pritzker get the nomination – his record is as bad as Biden’s.

A lot depends on how ingrained Trump Derangement Syndrome is. Some Dems believe in “no matter who, vote blue.”

President JB? Heaven forbid! He’s destroying a great state, one policy at a time. Take the SAFE-T act for instance – more like the victims be damned/criminal protection act.

Would love to see ‘toiletgate’ and the offshore tax avoidance schemes discussed nationally – And that’s was before he was Gov. So much opposition material with Pritzker.

Add in Jumbo and crew fleeing to a less covid restrictive state while his Draconian mandates at home were killing commerce and said mandates were extended again and again, and I think Pritzger will be roasted like a hog on a spit by the Republicans. It will be reminiscent of the famous photo of the Hindenburg crashing.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
