Remember it wasn’t that long ago a young girl in Urbana was killed by Julio Cucul-Boi a Guatemalan that was in the country illegally and has been charged with DUI, reckless homicide and leaving the scene of an accident. Around 87% of IL counties voted Red in 2024. We are screwed over by Cook and its surrounding counties.
Counties and land don’t vote. The majority of the people (you know actual voters) want this government. County lines are meaningless. Why is that so hard for so many to understand.

Sorry, but I just don’t get it. You’ve often said, on many issues, that voters are getting what they want because of who they voted for. I think you even said that about higher taxes. Polls show it’s not true on many issues. That was the only point I am trying to make.
And that will not change in your lifetime or the lifetimes of anyone now alive. So if you stay, stop complaining and just take it and shut up. Otherwise leave. Complaining about it changes nothing. The most severe punishment you can give Cook and the collar counties is by leaving and taking your money with you.
It’s usually 9 or 10 counties out of 102. Cook County is the prize and is solid, insane blue.

Gov. Fatass has blood on his hands again. This issue must be front and center for all GOP midterm campaigns in Illinois. The ideal ad would show Pritzker waddling down the lakefront, gaslighting Chicago about safety, then images of the illegal who killed this poor girl.
