Pritzker speaks about what’s ahead for incoming Chicago mayor – FOX32 (Chicago)

"He's focused on something that I'm focused on, which is lifting up people who've been left out and left behind. We have neighborhoods in Chicago that have been disinvested from. He ran a campaign that focused on that, and he won because in my opinion he addressed that," Gov. JB Pritzker said.

I saw the JB & Johnson press photos and it looks like JB took off his kneepads before the picture was taken.

If Pritzker is so concerned about lifting up people who were left behind why didn’t he invest the $323M or so he spent on becoming the gov twice on those people.. Imagine how many people could have been helped with 1/3rd of a billion. How many small businesses/factories/homes/apartments could be built with all that money? In certain neighborhoods vacant lots can be bought for little or no money. The people could invest their time and energy building homes like Habitat for Humanity. Instead he bought power and influence.

I’ve undertaken a deep and thorough study to identify the root causes of everything that ails Illinois, and her premier city, Chicago. After extensive analysis of the facts, I have narrowed the cause to a single critical issue…Democrats.
