Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Don’t sit in front of Governor WIDE-LOAD while he is testifying. His nose is bound to grow quite a bit from all the lies he will be presenting.
Would caution Pritzker on lying/ telling half-truths to Congress.
Hope they arrest him for impersonating a Governor.
One hopes that the good professor was misquoted or misheard. On this I take a hardline position. My hairline is indifferent.
Pritzker will lie as usual. And no, all of IL is not for sanctuary state or cities.
