Pritzker vows to address the high cost of prescription drugs in Illinois – Center Square

If passed into law, the Prescription Drug Affordability Act would create an independent Prescription Drug Affordability Board. The board could set upper limits on what people would pay for their medications.

Right now if you take medications check out Mark Cuban’s cost plus drugs.

Also check GoodRX/GoodRX Gold ($9.95 month cancel anytime for gold) Another good one is if you are a Costco member ask the pharmacist for the Costco price for meds. This bypasses insurance and many times it is cheaper than ins cost especially for generics. Costco accepts Good RX and other coupons but their price is usually lower. Not sure if Sam’s Club does the same but might as well ask.
