Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
Compare Pritzker’s ridiculous word salad here to the actual statistics in the City Journal article linked on Wirepoints.
These people have so much to answer for.
I agree…
But they just refuse to answer any questions directly, it’s always duck-dodge-hide…
So just *who* will hold them accountable…?
I would say the voters, but sadly we all know how that would work out…
How about Pritzker apologize for the lockdowns, which in addition to cloth masks, have been scientifically proven to be useless for mitigation? Businesses closed forever because of Pritzker’s lockdowns.
The mask mandates are JB’s Achilles’ heal and he’s too stupid to see it.
Then again, being so fat, he must actually rupture his Achilles’ heal just trying to walk.
He broke his own leg simply by standing on it. That’s not an exaggeration. But somehow he’s a health expert.
I’m not into fat shaming, but I don’t take health advice from the morbidly obese either.
