Pritzker’s ‘dad-vice’ commencement address jabs at Musk, Trump administration – Center Square

FNF - Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker during the commencement address at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois on Sunday, June 8, 2025Gov. JB Pritzker was given an honorary doctorate by Knox College this weekend, just before he delivered a commencement address. He advised graduates to turn the lights off when you leave the room and to fill up your tires. “I know that when that little tire gauge comes on on your dashboard, you view it in the same way that Elon Musk views the United States Constitution as a mere suggestion,” he said to laughter. “But if you're not putting air in your tires before the winter, then you are going to end up just like Elon with a car that no one wants to drive.”

JB’s “ dad advice “ ranks right up there with Walz’ and Newsome’s. The three combined aren’t worth a flying rhymes with truck.

I might suggest Pritzker devote some effort as to why Knox College’s enrollment keeps dropping rather than focusing on anti Trump rhetoric.

What a pathetic excuse of a human. This pandering selfish jackass can’t provide uplifting information for new graduates, nope, he like so many other Democraps, use this opportunity to try and gain some political points and slam the other party. How could anyone sit there and listen to this putz.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
