Pritzker’s speech in New Hampshire drives presidential campaign buzz – Washington Post/MSN

In a fiery address to New Hampshire Democrats on Sunday night, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker condemned what he described as President Donald Trump’s “authoritarian power grabs” while also blasting the “do-nothing” Democrats in his party — stating it is “time to fight everywhere, all at once."

With last years guest speaker being then Gov. Tim Walz, the Cambridge refugees who have taken over the former Great Granite State are 2 for 2 on having complete buffoons at the podium.

Only the paid Dem stooges at the State Media WaPo would pen such an uncritical regurgitation of the violent and traitorous words of the worst governor in America, JB the Hutt.

Bezos was supposed to make that rack of birdcage liners less idiotically partisan and succeeded about as well as his space carnival ride did at creating astronauts a few weeks ago.

Re Pritzker as a presidential candidate, he is articulate and aggressive. He is also a dishonest, immoral, anti-American leftist oligarch. It seems to me that if images of his repulsive face and physique are widely disseminated, he is unlikely to be elected.

But I wouldn’t underestimate him, due to his money and Democrats’ willingness to cheat.

Illinois is not great for business. The recent bankrupty of Big Lots saw all 26 Illinois locations close. Big Lots is reopening 132 stores and not a single one in Illinois. Why do you think that is JB, we have safe roads that’s what these businesses want, right?

Pritzker self-financed most of his election campaigns. So, there hasn’t been much need to waste anybody else’s money. Going forward, a possible negative could be lack of ability to raise funds for other candidates who run in 2026 or for a national campaign in 2028. What big donors think of Pritzker is a determining factor in whether he will run again for anything other than governor of Il. For the most part activists don’t give much. The activists provide reliable votes for democrats, and we’ve seen that they will vote for any democrat who runs. In terms of ever winning,… Read more »

I guess he can boast about IL being one of the most taxed state in the country with one of the few states with the highest outmigration, the highest unemployment rate and the most illegal immigrants living off the government dime. That is really a campaign winner.

The national media is either ignorant or avoids talking about IL decrepit financial situation while the local media, ST and Trib, are afraid of Pritzker’s money. So he goes around spouting without criticism. Only Wirepoints tells the whole story and Pritzker doesn’t do media interviews unless with butt kissers. When is some media outlet with national exposure going to out Pritzker?

The Chicago media have been Dem lapdogs for decades. They regurgitate talking points so as to retain access to Illinois’ political animals.

Completely worthless. All of them.

I don’t know if the readers here have found out about this but…….

  • Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of El Salvador from your stay at Hyatt Centric San Salvador, located in the center of the city’s best shopping district. Our boutique hotel boasts luxurious rooms and suites that feature works from local artists and floor-to-ceiling views of Antiguo Cuscatlán, the atrium or the mountains.

So presidential hopeful wants to boycott El Salvador but he and his family own a 5 star income generating hotel in El Salvador. As usual the same crap out of Pritzgers mouth.

Replying to my own post. Almost 200 properties in China as well. Maybe Pritzger hates tariffs or anything anti China since he and his family are heavily invested in the China economy. Just throw this in the mix of the Blago scandal, toiletgate, draconian Covid orders for almost 1400 days, moving his family out of Illinois to Florida to be free of his ordered Covid restrictions and on and on. Pritzger is the typical democrat con artist, make that a wealthy con artist, liar, hypocrite and entitled egotistical elitist. I’m repeating myself when I say democrats hate you and hate… Read more »

Please. Please. Pretty please. Don’t let us down. The future of ‘your’ America is on the line. I can’t imagine a more ideal Democrat candidate for 2028.

Ask them if they are on the receiving end for anything from the state such as employment-pensions-health care? I spoke to some that work for the state/ public employment and they really like this guy but others on the paying end do not. I mean really do not like this guy but Cook county determines who becomes the governor in many cases.

The dem self criticism buzz word for why they lost to DT a couple month ago was “the working class”. DT won and dems lost “the working class”. JB used to spout he was about building “the middle class” or those aspiring to be. What has JB/ the machine done for who they like to call “the working class” (us middle class chumbalones) in bankrupt Illinois?—ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!
Only the public sector guaranteed deal class has gotten ahead in JB’s, “so tiered of all the winning”, Illinois

Isn’t Illinois Fun?

Have to disagree with “absolutely nothing”. He foisted the SAFE-T Act on everyone, he tried passing the “fair tax”, and surrogates are trying to resurrect it under a new name, he has raised the gas tax again, he failed to stop the cessation of the Invest In Kids program, displacing 9600 students and leading to multiple private school closures. He fails to make budget cuts and he is uninterested in prosecuting criminals or helping ICE removed illegals who commit crimes. He’s done so much more than nothing. A terrible, terrible and smug governor.

Don’t forget, he stopped the grocery tax that saves families around $200 p/yr. Those dollars go back to municipalities. JB wanted to campaign on eliminating that tax. He’s right, we shouldn’t be taxed on groceries, but he didn’t offer the municipalities more state funding to make up for it. Instead, the legislation ensured municipalities could reinstate the tax themselves. At least 50 have so far, others will follow, introduce a new tax, or raise others to make up for the shortfall. I am so disgusted with this state. I received my Lake County tax bill last night. My taxes went… Read more »

what is JB’s “record in Illinois as a template for improving the lives of working-class voters”??
Article states:

“In a 2028 field that is likely to be dominated by governors, Pritzker has positioned himself as one of the most forceful and consistent critics of Trump’s actions while pointing to his record in Illinois as a template for improving the lives of working-class voters.”

And JB calls for violence against Republicans. The Democrat’s Brownshirt Army is real. But……JB is probably also deluded that his unconstitutional gun control laws have changed Illinois. Most Republicans maintain their 2nd Amendment tools. Bring it on fatboy.

I suppose that technically, he only called for Republican office holders to be treated like traitors and “never have a moment’s peace” — if called out on this, he would probably insist he didn’t mean ordinary folks who vote Republican — but there really is no way to separate office holders in this context from their supporters. So despite all his talk of “one Illinois” he basically declared war on at least 40%-45% of the state’s voting residents (i.e., those who voted for Trump) and on every “red” county or community in the state. If he really means what he… Read more »

This activity by this ridiculous blow-hard should tell every person in Illinois who and what he is. The state financials are a disaster, the pension system is financially unsound and will, absolutely, bankrupt the State. Yet, this jackass, does nothing but spend more and now campaign to somehow be the president. He should be focused on the job he has , but he doesn’t want that anymore…and the heat is getting to him. He said this with all honesty in his speech. “We’ve done an awful lot in Illinois, and we can be doing those things in other states.” Awful is a good word he said on what he has done. What exactly has he done? He raised taxes on every person in Illinois from close to day one in his administration including the ones who can least afford it. He took money by taxation from the many to give to the few who are organized and have a large voting block. He promoted abortion-casinos-pot-transgenderism-sanctuary status for illegals-his daily mandates on Covid were… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
