Proposed sales tax increase to benefit Effingham Co. schools – WCIA (Champaign)

For the fourth time, voters will be asked to consider a 1% sales tax to improve Effingham County schools. The money would go towards renovating and building facilities and — new this year — mental health professionals and upgraded security.
