It’s just reporting. It doesn’t make a difference. Maybe costs the business a postage stamp.

This is America, right? I can’t really tell anymore.

I still believe that they will actually “progress” to the point of selecting my employees for me, eventually.

I don’t even know why I list my title as “CEO.” I’m just the middle man, and the government makes all my decisions for me.

I see your point. The Operating Engineers were transparent about their leaders on their own, but public companies need a law to disclose their leaders.

What’s next? Corporate boards must have people all with different hair color. More people with freckles. Various height and weight requirements. Both normal and abnormal blood pressure must be represented. Who wants someone on a board that could stroke out by making a decision.

JB-whos obviously never had a job in his life, is really such a brilliant entrepreneurial mind! I mean just think of how much more money companies will make by having to disclose these social justice warrior laws, the tax coffers will be overflowing with money! People will be flocking to live in this great state!

Companies will make money if they have diverse hires because they will be drawing talent from a larger pool of people.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
