Plus an extra feather in his cap, he’s been endorsed by Dick Durbin! Has Rahm had his tailor fitting for his ambassadorial formal cutaway? With a red cummerbund and sash and his chest adorned with medals like Eric Carter. Japanese are very perceptive to even minor slights. Biden has sent Japan a turd a wrapped in a ribbon!

Perhaps, his first official act will be sending a dead fish to some Japanese functionary. The good in all this would be that he leaves the country until his arrogance gets him fired.

Not to worry, it’s just payback for the attack on Pearl Harbor.

They deserve it.

Well I guess the Dems have absolutely no standards for someone to qualify as an ambassador. Rahm is about as vile as a person can be.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
