Ralph Martire: We must invest public dollars to address racial inequality – Chicago Sun-Times

"Government leaders have named streets after (Martin Luther King Jr.) and created a federal holiday to commemorate his life. OK, fine. But if our public sector really wants a meaningful way to honor King, it should actually redress the harm done to generations of Black Americans, by eliminating the structural racism woven into the fabric of society. This responsibility falls more on the public sector now than ever, given the Supreme Court’s recent anti-affirmative action decision, which makes it difficult for individual institutions to deal directly with racial inequity."

Every successful black person disproves the lie of structural racism. The success of any individual is based on the personal decisions they make. Note that structural racism is never defined, because it doesn’t exist. It’s just another Marxist class struggle abstract concept Want to have a successful life? Get an education, don’t commit crimes, don’t have children out of wedlock, and speak and write English. How many of the bums that appear on CWB Chicago have met this low bar for success? None. The further lie by this grifter Mr. Martire is that we need to spend more money! We… Read more »

Another divide and conquer article published by the Chicago media. Perhaps it was written to garner approval from Pritzker who hinted the other day at throwing funds towards journalists, that we can assume, write in the Pritzker approved style. Well in this case the author did fit the Pritzker style. Sow discord and Pritzker can, with a fistful of taxpayer dollars, offer pandering to the offended in true Democrat party style.

Yup, divide and conquer. Few things disgust me more about today’s far left progressives than their endless efforts to stoke division.

The progressive is a communist. That’s why the communist stokes division against his supporter’s perceived enemies. Communism is not the state ownership of the means of production – that’s Marxism. Communism, as it has been applied throughout the world, “The promise to hurt the people you blame for your problems in exchange for power.” The ideology is window dressing because the targets always change: the rich, white people, the academics, etc. But the idea of hurting some enemy stays the same. Losers like Ralph Martire are feeding you to the alligator hoping that he is eaten last. But don’t worry… Read more »

JB’s money and influence corrupts every institution he touches. No establishment type dares defy or upset the country’s only Billionaire Governor. This is a bit like what Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus aka Octavian did after he won the Roman civil war after his Uncle Julius Caesar was assassinated. Augustus vanquished all of his remaining enemies and then returned to Rome with immense wealth and power. He made himself a dictator but called himself Princeps civitatis (“First Citizen”). He used this power to corrupt and undermine every weak Roman institution in his favor. He usurped power from the Roman Senate, just… Read more »

Where’s your detailed plan Ralph? You’ve got absolutely nothing. You’re a panderer without a clue. Get lost already.

So tired of the structural racism lie. It’s a flat out lie. These people live in a world of make-believe, and I’m simply tired of living in it.

In the year after George Floyd, the biggest 100 companies in America hired 320,000 people. 94% of them were people of color.https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2023-black-lives-matter-equal-opportunity-corporate-diversity/

I saw that. In a sane and just world, the DOJ would sue each and every one of these countries for racism. But the Biden administration agrees with racist hiring. And the end of the day, none of this is about racism or righting past wrongs. It’s 100% about power and excluding white conservatives from establishment positions. Democrats believe if they can control every facet of society with people who share their beliefs, they can destroy and punish their enemies, the deplorable white MAGA Republican. This is not hypebole or exaggeration. This is really what is all about. Power. That’s… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
