Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Let the cheat begin!
Let the fraud continue!
Just a comment about voter registration and the opportunity for fraud. We live in Winnebago County, Rockford area, and my daughter has not lived here in over 20 yrs. Yesterday we received in the mail her new voters registration card. I have tried 4x to get her name taken off the voter rolls. I appeared in person, I called, I sent back previous voter cards with the “Moved not forwarding address” notation on the envelope. Nope, still got one. I was told that she would have to appear in person to have her name removed. She is out of state… Read more »
My grandmother was on the voter rolls for 10 years after she died, even after I presented a death certificate.
But, don’t worry, there’s nothing to see here.
After the 2020 election I looked up my address in the Crook County system, after hearing about the maidengate rumor, and the voter registration system showed my spouse registered twice, once under her married name in the correct precinct, and once again under her maiden name in the precinct across the street. As many times as they want. Don’t forget Chicago’s motto
Vote early-Vote Often
The polling place in my former Chicago neighborhood was open only from 8am to 4pm. It was a cemetery.
5 for me (Dems) and 2 for you ha ha Republicans
Fraud. The only reason to do this.
Anyone who votes by mail can also show up at the polls and vote again in person. My wife and I proved that in the last election. Because there is no chain of custody with the mail ballots. Also the systems apparently don’t register that you voted already. Who knows when the mail ballot envelop will get opened and tabulated. Mail in ballots are a complete cluster Fu@k.
They won’t have to bother to apply. The Dem machine will register them and cast their vote at the same time! The machine will also vote on behalf of their dead relatives and pet dog.
