Religious Services Should Be Moved Online As Coronavirus Surges In Illinois, Pritzker Says – Block Club Chicago

The state tried to force places of worship to stop in-person services in the spring because the crowding and other activities that happen at them — like singing — create a higher risk for COVID-19 to spread. Pritzker eventually backed down.

Governor Pritzker’s COVID-19 lockdown strategy is awful. He does not accept a strategy whereby the economy, places of worship, schools, athletics, etc. are kept open as much as possible given the number of available hospital beds and icu’s. This summer when there were plenty of empty hospital beds and icu”s, the economy was still severely locked down. People could have received more of a reprieve from lockdowns this summer but now that opportunity is gone. Now we are heading into cold weather and he wants more severe lockdowns. He is not giving enough weight to how lockdown”s affect mental health… Read more »

People and their religion are what help them get thru the hard time. Apparently Jabba does not think that Illinois has gone thru enough pain. He is the one who has inflicted the pain with the unlawful lockdowns. People need to take responsibility for their own lives. People did not decide to have the lard boy tell us when they can go to church and when they can go about their lives. What about those who worship Satan? Seems like most pols attend those gatherings. Look at all the laws they passed like abortion. The news said that when ACB was confirmed and may have a say in Roe v Wade if overturned or limited Illinois will become a destination for abortions.

Yes – there is a Satanic overtone of this whole Co-Scam. It’s cover for all the anti-God, anti-Western laws and values, anti-humanity agenda. Know this and continue to witness it in all the details.

Until the human revolt occurs.

Pritzker’s religion doesn’t mean anything to him–obviously.
There is a thing called the First Amendment. He wants to crush that and then continue with the rest.

You are correct.
Then, the audacity of Pritzger and others who call Peaceful Protesters Racists because of their signs.
Seems like(it is) someone’s actions here are right out of the Communist/Marxist “Playbook”

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
