I call it the Twitter Strategy – blame Trump for everything. The left wing progressive loonies in his base eat that up. It’s literally red meat. Ironically, they claim only the federal government can solve the states problems, while at the same time, complaining that the federal government failed to solve the state’s problems. Which is it?

“I call it the Twitter Strategy – blame Trump for everything. The left wing progressive loonies in his base eat that up.” That’s one point of view. Here’s mine for nearly all Wirepoints commenters’ postings: “I call it the Wirepoints Strategy–blame Democrats for everything. The right wing conservative loonies in that base eat that up.” See, it all depends upon your mindset, doesn’t it? Truth, like beauty, is often in the eye of the beholder. In short, people like confirmation bias and gravitate toward it.

You are absolutely right. Democrats ARE to blame for the State’s pathetic response. The entire state is controlled by Democrats, and all of our Democrat leaders, Lori, Jabba, and now Ducksworth (her op ed in USA Today), are spending their time whining and blaming Trump…The only cohesive plan seems to be every elected official blasting Trump in unison. Thank you for confirming what we all know is true. Democrats are to blame.

Bubblehead Pritzger is prepping for a presidential run in 2024. The all knowing, all seeing, blame President Trump for everything governor is totally impressed with himself. He should have been in prison with Blago for trying to bribe his way into a Senate appointment but since his sister Penny was a half a step away from crawling up Obama’s azz he skated being indicted, tried, and sent off to the bug house.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
