Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. “… Davis said. “Our authorities are doing well.“’?
And this after his Own Grandson was murdered? Amazing…
If Danny Davis was one of the 18 shot and 5 fatally this weekend, he would not be saying “all is well!” Perhaps he should consider his constituents!
There’s too old to be in Congress; then, there’s way too old.
“We need all the help we can get from the federal government, but we don’t need another level of law enforcement to pretend they’re going to solve some problem related to violence and crime,” Davis said. “Our authorities are doing well.“
Translation…give us the federal dollars, so that we can spend it on illegals. Our authorites are doing well…at spending dollars on illegals.
His intentions are transparent. Danny doesn’t want a solution, he doesn’t want actual help to reduce crime and protect citizens…he just wants the federal government to provide funding for his “prOgrams” Gotta have the prOgrams so the money can be laundered and distributed to insiders and crooks. These folks want the crime to continue, they want the violence to continue, so the funding for the multi-million dollar prOgrams can continue. These people couldn’t care less about the cOMMunity of working people they claim to represent, they care about paying the coalitions of community leaders and faith leaders…all on the take.
