Report from the Office of the Inspector General finds 160 children died in FY2023, despite DCFS involvement – WICS (Springfield)

Out of the 160 deaths reviewed by the OIG, 59 were investigations for allegations of death by abuse and neglect. Of those 59, the manner of death was ruled as homicide in 14 of those cases. The number of child deaths is down by 11 from fiscal year 2022, but up from 2021's total of 122 children.

Horrible. How many adults have been prosecuted over this?
The dead children total should be the prime example that Democrats will trample anyone in their rabid quest for money and power.
Does anyone at DCFS even think about these dead children? Nope, all they think about is making sure that their State salary deposit shows up in their bank account every two weeks.
