Report shows Illinois union participation declining despite growth in new petitions – Capitol News IL

Despite the increase in private sector unionization efforts, the percentage of Illinois’ workforce that is unionized dropped below 13 percent for the first time in the 10-year period surveyed. At 12.8 percent, Illinois had the 13th-highest unionization rate among all states.

I don’t know, maybe, it just might, be, you know, because… unions have been looking out for power and influence, and not working to protect their members as productive workers who want to contribute, learn and grow.
