Davis said he is the primary promoter of Predominately Black Institutions (PBIs) a designation for about 75 schools including in Illinois, Chicago State University, Olive-Harvey College, Kennedy King College, Malcolm X College, South Suburban College, and Robert Morris University Illinois formerly Robert Morris College. The schools with the PBI designation must have a 40 percent Black enrollment with an equal percent low-income status.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Reps Davis and Ford should read a history book or a civics book. We are not a Democracy, We are a Constitutional republic. It is very telling that these two are completely ignorant of what form of government we have. But then again , both of them do nothing but take up space and collect a fat check.
83 is too old to be in Congress.
As always, PBI/ HBC’s push for their Black agenda ( which surely includes a healthy infusion of tax dollars ) in a way that nobody else could were they to have a college catering to non- blacks, were one even allowed to exist.
