“I don’t think until you take a really a collective view on true tax reform, whether it’s property tax, income tax, sales tax, the estate tax, which is the death tax, I think we’re gonna really kind of be behind the eight ball with other states that are being more proactive on tax reform,” state Rep. Tony McCombie said.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
How about focusing on spending reform?
