Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. ISBE needs to be disbanded.
How about a healthy dose of critical introspection. In front of the class explain how you’re going to be a better person. They can’t give it a rest because they’ve got nothing else. Hmmmm….I see a pattern. People who wreck everything and the Democrats think alike. Hmmmm!
Teaching black kids they are inferior and victims, one kid at a time.
How soon will training be mandatory for everyone? Why not go after everyone Caucasian? What will the lever entail? Loss of drivers license ?
How can we effectively express our opinion on this latest bit of racism proposed by ISBE?
Kids deserve better than this political B.S.
“Illinois considers funding anti racism training in schools” – as if this is not a foregone conclusion.
Apparently, education towards useful and productive skills is considered of no use to the blacksupremacists and leftist tyrants.
Don’t know if this funding would be considered part of CRT (seem all the same to me). But has anyone noticed since dem Virginia woke-up-call loss NPR, NYT, etc keep repeating as gospel– that CRT is not taught in schools and is in fact an issue made up by republicans as a “racist dog whistle” vote-getter. Elitist progressive news media is doubling down– anyone who desn’t vote progressive dem is a racist/ anti-science/ dumb uneducated hick as usual message. Will Illinois parents remain silent?
Whoopie! Now there will be an Implicit Bias Task Force formed.
Due to the teachers contracts there are only so many hours in the day for classtime. Should something like this get imposed and classtime added for it then what other classes will be cut as there are only so many class hours in the day? Reading, Composition or Math?
