Rich Miller: ‘Wackos’ feed on witness slips – Journal Gazette and Times-Courier (Mattoon)

"Groups all across the political and issue spectrum try to encourage people to file witness slips on the General Assembly’s website in support or opposition to bills to show supporters, donors, the other side and legislators that they have public backing. The slips are empowering. People feel seen. They believe they’re making a difference. But the slip wars also provide a positive feedback loop for dark conspiracy theories."

Madigan’s favorite brown nose slithers out from under his rock to spew more Democrat Pravda Propaganda. Has Miller ever had an original thought? Has Miller ever done any actual “journalism”?Wait for Miller to log onto Wirepoints and downvote any negative comments.

Maybe this is how Miller justifies fraudulently rigging his comment board to block dissenters. Anybody disagreeing with him must be a conspiracy theorist.

Miller should be an expert on wackos. They’re all over his blog. They come unhinged at the drop of a hat.

Miller’s biggest point of personal pride was getting the rock band “Confederate Railroad” cancel-culture banned from the Illinois State Fair.

Would have been a good article if he had referenced some of the liberal wackos. Unfortunately they think everything they do is mainstream.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
