Richard Porter: Hyperbole, Lies, and Delusions – RealClear Politics

Richard Porter, former National Committeeman to the RNC from Illinois: "Pritzker's lies in the cause of his ambition to be the Democratic Party’s nominee for president are more outrageous – and more perilous – than Smollett’s lies to make himself a civil rights icon."

JB won’t go anywhere on the national stage. His track record in Illinois on so many issues is so disastrous even lefty nut jobs won’t support the guy. He’s just a big blowhard with a big fat wallet who can gin up a posse in a state like Illinois with so many millions of poorly educated and apathetic voters. Even Dems in other states will see through his bag of hooey.

The useless media, primarily the useless Chicago media. If We BE Zombies and Wilmette Talking To Winnetka were truly the bastions of fair and balanced reporting they indignantly claim to be, JB… Read more »

Anything less than +$1B to the DNC and its unlikely Pritzker makes a dent in the rigged Democrat primaries. I look at Pritzker running as a tremendous opportunity for public disclosure of many crimanl acts.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
