Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The Northwest Suburban Cook County Republicans had their Lincoln Day Dinner last night, an event that had over 500 guests. There was a “straw poll” for Governor, and the results were: Ted Dabrowski 55%, Darren Bailey 35%, other 10%.
Then This guy suddenly comes out of the woodwork? Maybe he gets an expedited Casino Gaming License or Property Tax Relief on his Real Estate Developments for bloodying Ted’s nose? Hmm….
God help us. BJ will destroy Chicago and this fellow is even more dangerous than Pritzker. What’s left to throw in the pot, (yes, pun intended), legal and regulated prostitution and harder drugs. He could make Pritzker look like a boyscout and that is saying something.
If this guy gave money to these two jackasses, he is no Republican. Another way for Jumbo to use his money to manipulate the election. Pathetic.
More of Pritzker meddling in Republican politics to benefit himself. Look for a well-funded campaign to try and knock Ted Dabrowski out. Don’t let it work.
