My first apartment was located by Loyola near North Shore and Glenwood back in 1974-1979. It was a wonderful quiet neighborhood until the late 1970s when the Juneway Terrace POC burst out of their ghetto to wreak havoc. All of Rogers Park focused incorrectly on the spread of Uptown POC which never occurred, The Juneway Terrace POC are the most violent upon casual observation of CWBChicago reports. These same POC are the ones who terrorize the formerly pleasant Jewish areas of West Rogers Park. Who warped the little minds of these monsters?

The Big 10 pipeline is drying up as college graduates skip over Chicago. And now the local college pipeline is drying up too as high school students skip Chicago over safety issues.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
