Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Durbin is one of the most disingenuous, vile , self serving scumbags that one can find. This is the same guy who disparaged our troops as “nazis” . during the Iraq war. He cannot pass from this world soon enough.

Durbin is a pox on all of us. This so called letter is nothing more than an attempt by this do nothing waste of space to defend his buddy Biden, who is another waste of space. Biden completely screwed up on Afghanistan and tragically many people have died, with more to come. Durbin is a disgrace, and should resign from office.
