Sen. Dick Durbin Says Biden Should ‘Think Twice’ Before Debating Trump – Daily Caller

“There’s a damage if you don’t [debate]. There’s a damage if you don’t do well,” Democratic strategist James Carville said. “It’s kind of expected as a presidential candidate.”

Dick should “think twice” before objecting to Epstein’s list being exposed. Who is on that list that he doesn’t want us to see? Never fear. – Biden’s handlers will come up with some crisis to keep Joe in the basement where he can’t hurt himself.

I would have liked President Trump to participant in a couple Debates on the Republican side. He can not duck and dodge issues that tripped him up in his four years. In general we need to hear candidates side by side despite what the Polls may say. The polls have been wrong for quite some time now. Speaking of ducking and dodging, President Biden also needs to debate, the People deserve candidates that can answer for their actions. It’s a shame we have come to the point.

I just want to see him shake hands with someone who isn’t there or get lost trying to figure out how to walk off stage.

Biden can’t debate anyone, can’t deliver a speech unless it’s whispered into his earpiece, can’t navigate his way across a stage or from podium. See Michelle Obama interview, where she expresses her “terror” of possibility Trump’s re-election; expect her to give Newsome a fierce race to presidential nomination at August convention.

Folks, the cookie-crumb trail is there for everyone to see.

Every Democrat power broker wants Biden to resign or step aside….except the people behind Biden who control the levers of power. But unfortunately, the Biden regency isn’t going to voluntarily accede power to a rival Democrat politician merely because others in the party find Biden’s people moderately unpopular. Biden’s people stole the election fair and square. Biden the other day screamed, unscripted, “I understand power!” into a microphone at the end of a speech, before Jill Biden forcefully lead him off stage. They don’t care about polls, or popularity, or even Republican opposition, because they know they’re not going to… Read more »

Biden, after an angry speech on “democracy,” comes back to yell, “I UNDERSTAND POWER!”

I think it’s only Sleepy Joe and “Call me Doctor” Jill Biden who refuse to concede 2nd-term prospects. Most of Biden’s senior White House officials are foremost loyal to Obamas, not Bidens. Suspect White House officials are privately embarrassed to be associated with Biden and Harris, knowing only 3rd-term “Obama-rerun” administration would redeem their tarnished careers. It is difficult even for staunchest Democratic aides to live, day in, day out, this real-life “emperor has no clothes” dynamic of Biden’s daily pratfalls, misspoken words, and rancorous dementia.

I don’t think most of them care. The legacy media mostly ignores Biden’s gaffes and dementia. We in conservative media follow all of it but they don’t care about our opinions about anything. We are completely irrelevant to them. Most normies know Biden is old and slow but truly have no idea how bad he gets because the media intentionally ignores it. The media did the same for Roosevelt near the end of his presidency too, as Eleanor Roosevelt was actually running the country, although with more power than Jill.

I know everyone is talking about Mooch replacing Joe on the ballot in 10 months but I think this is wishful thinking. They’re stuck with Joe for another four years as his Cabal runs the government into the ground.

Listening to Dick Durbin is so painful. He used to be such a good guy back in the 80’s and early 90’s. Moderate. Common sense Springfield, middle of the road Dem. Many bipartisan bills and programs he supported. Not that much daylight between him and most of his Republican colleagues in the Illinois legislature. He has turned into such a tool of the Washington Democrat cabal. And to think he can now go public day after day supporting the withering old man Biden. He has sold out to a degree that not many other pols have. It is really sad… Read more »

Watching Slomo Joe is like visiting a loved one at the assisted living facility and passing the old guy that’s always sitting on the couch in the vestibule yelling weird things like “pancakes!” or “toyota!”. He gets one word out then talks like his mouth is full of marbles. That’s what old Do Nothing Dick is afraid of, and it’s the inconvenient truth the Democrats are dealing with right now. But if not Diaper Joe, then what? You can’t push word salad Kamala to the sidelines or someone will call you a racist. I guess you could have Gruesome Newsom… Read more »

Dick, there’s a good reason Biden campaigned from his basement in 2020 and things have only gotten worse.

I suggest you counsel him to drop out and give another Dem a prayer. RFK junior is probably the Dems best hope in 2024.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
