Sen. Duckworth Calls Out Southwest Airlines In First Hearing As Aviation Chair – RiverBender (Alton)

In her opening remarks, Duckworth said: “We must crack down on carriers that have gotten away with predatory practices that treat customers like suckers and view passengers with disabilities as disposable. […] In recent years, [the aviation industry] has suffered from complacency and a desperate drive for profits that has placed the needs of Wall Street above all else.”

Maybe idiot Duckworth should be ragging on our highly effective Transportation Secretary

I thought the topic was the holiday mess – not the disabled.

Perhaps had the airlines not fired non-jab compliant personnel they wouldn’t have this problem. Just say’n.

I agree, the Duck’s opening remarks are about predatory practices and treating customers like suckers. I wonder if she ever tried calling for tech support for say an appliance, trying to reach someone in a doctors office (many examples). The wait times are so long they give you a place marker for a call back. I am waiting four days for a call back to see if the office received my medical records. Try calling a government agency for help. Another LOL senator Duck. Rather than a stupid opening statement, should there have been a question like what really happened?

Retard Duckworth should put most of the blame on DOT Secretary Pete Butt-Plug, for taking a 6 month baby vacation instead of doing his job on air travel.
