Senate President Don Harmon avoids $10M fine after election board deadlocks – Capitol News IL

Though the board’s vote Tuesday puts to rest the alleged violation and fine assessed by staff at the State Board of Elections, Harmon is not entirely out of the woods. The Liberty Justice Center filed a citizen-initiated complaint with the State Board of Elections last week.

Did you really think anything other than this would be the result?

Harmon is sweating bullets and pulling out every stop to avoid accountability. That he is even still in office is testament to how messed up IL politics are. I would love to see a PAC with the financial means initiate a civil suit for every penny of the money to be paid by Harmon. Even OJ’s estate had to eventually pay up after + 30 years of fighting it off.
