Seniors are pushed aside in Illinois COVID-19 vaccination program – Suburban Chicagoland

"The pharmaceutical companies don’t suffer, because they claim they are producing the vaccines as fast as they can, regulated by government. The politicians don’t suffer because they are getting fat donations from the pharmaceutical robber barons...What’s left is a paucity of vaccines, not enough to handle the hundreds of millions of people who need it, regulated by each state which decides who gets what."

Illinois intends to vaccinate its prison population ahead of completing its first-phase vaccination target of 65+ senior constituents. That tells it all; Pritzker’s SJW mentality has now rationalized that it’s okay he’s prioritized criminals ahead of seniors. And mind you, seniors are far more likely to pay their state income taxes than convicted criminals.

SJW agenda has rendered our world topsy-turvy. Prisoners are now our collective priority. Criminals are treated as victims of circumstance, excused for their criminality, and crime-victims are scrutinized as being white-privileged (or white-adjacent privileged) who are oppressing their attackers who brutalized them.

“Prisoners are now our collective priority.” The SJW angle is just a cover for the real reasons: rewarding Democrat voters. Vaccinating the imprisoned family members of Democrats is a reward. And when most of these guys are released, they will all vote Democrat too. They don’t care about the white elderly senior who votes Republican. They will die soon anyways and they only vote Republican. But prisoners and their families are a reliable Democrat constituency. I keep saying over and over again: JB’s equity policies are purposely designed to kill old white Republican seniors. He doesn’t care if they pay… Read more »

My wife and I (both > 75) got our first shots but the providers are not getting supplies for the second shots. Lots of politics resulting in lots of shots either going to waste or being given to lower priority groups. Many elders simply can’t navigate the computerized scheduling system. I expect that a lot of federal money is being paid for the doses themselves together with subsidies for those in the distribution chain. This is in the Seattle area where it’s hard to find agreement or consensus on anything and I don’t doubt that deals are being made and… Read more »

For those in a hurry to get the Wuhan Flu Shot, read up about it first.
Look up articles from Frontline Doctors.
I will never get this synthetic vaccine.

The hard part was developing the vaccine, private companies did that seemingly easily. Now the government has to do the easy part which is just stabbing needles and counting heads. And of course they are totally f’ing that up, typical bureaucratic mess.

Vaccine distribution is just a continuation of the completely political response to the virus. Since the very beginning the data showed the overwhelming vulnerability of the elderly. Little was done to protect them, but there was endless sniping about “equity”. Their main concern was to completely control the people of Illinois, under the guise of protecting us. The people who actually needed protection have been sacrificed to the progressive lust for power. Beyond disgusting.

“And more importantly, why haven’t the majority of seniors aged 65 and older received their vaccinations yet? I argue it’s because the officials don’t really care.” They actually care very deeply – they are purposely killing off seniors because they vote Republican. The elderly in Illinois are mostly white and are most likely to vote Republicans. This is a fact. JB, through his purposeful withholding and delaying of the vaccine, is trying to kill as many of them as he can. He is consolidating power by killing off those who voted against him in 2018. This is not an outrageous… Read more »

Additionally, greater mortality solves a few demographic problems like high health care costs, pensions, senior housing and slow drivers in the fast lane. Not to mention the taxes harvested from accelerated transfer of tax-deferred wealth.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
