Don’t you understand? The left actually wants someone hurt or killed to verify that ICE is bad. The state would have separated them by now if that wasnt the real reason. With leftists, you must lower expectations when analyzing their motives.

We also need a new Federal law that would prevent these mobs with criminal intent from forming.
No face coverings of any kind, no helmets, no gas masks, no tear gas or weapons possession, and no shields on ANY person within 500 yards of any Federal facility of any kind, except for Federal agents.

The facility has been in Broadview for many years. It did not make headlines until recently.

Was it used by ICE for migrant removal, or something else?

It’s a processing center for deportation, illegals that have already gone through the appeal process is what I understand.

Can anyone here provide any history about this facility? Who built it and for what? Why in Broadview? What was it used for a year ago? Why is ICE not using county jails in neighboring states, as they have in the past?

Theses ARE NOT PEACEFUL PROTESTS . They are the “PEACEFUL RIOTS OF 2020!”Surronding ICE vehicles slashing tires , throwing rocks and bottles and PHYSICALLY BLOCKING ICE VEHICLES they need to be arrested , prosecuted and sentenced to jail .

The party of hatred and violence, the democratic party, the party of real Nazis, are hoping for an incident initiated by these protesters that result in death so they can blame President Trump. Simply a fact. The democrats allowed cities under their control to burn during the Floyd riots and did nothing. Hate, violence are the trademarks of the democrats.

Local governments should back the police and The Trib and Times should stop reporting this like the illegals are poor innocent waifs. This city needs journalism that cuts to the truth and not a democrat shill

But then Judy Lum won’t get tear gassed and get the live photo op that the local media craves. If it bleeds, it leads!

Cook County is the governmental agency that is first required to back up BroadvIew to keep law and order and give its citizens peace and passage. Next up is the governor and State of Illinois. Periwinkle and Pritzker won’t do sh-t. They want Broadview to be under seige. Don’t put down the Broadview officers or command staff. It’s the Governor and Cook County Board President thats letting Broadview go to hell !!!!

They should just run bulldozers back and forth down the street to keep it cleared.

Park snowplows, not needed for another month or so, at each end of the street and only move them to allow ICE agents traffic. Arrest anyone found in the street between said snowplows. They are interfering with police business therefore local lib judges, America’s Worst Governor and Mayor be damned.

The whole thing is an astroturf operation by Democrat funded NGO’s. The Democrats keep violent thugs around for this purpose.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
