Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
Sounds like the Chicago Police Department and Cook County State’s Attorney covered this up. Some people need to go to jail. Wait till the civil lawsuits start…see the Catholic Church Chicago Archdiocese for what this will cost Chicago taxpayers.
Boss Stacy says So What, Pay Me. And you will obey.
When this happened in the Archdiocese it was a (justified) witch hunt to remove these people and get them away from children. Where is the political, media and parent outrage at CPS and CTU? Who knows how many other children have not come forward?
Allowing these people to transfer to other schools instead of being identified as child predators is disgusting, outrageous and dangerous. Will the citizens of Illinois really look the other way on this issue? We all need to remind our elected officials to demand action because your kids or your neighbors kids could be next.
And no mention of where the Magnificent Seven may be engaging with high school students as of now. Another example of the lies the state tells you when they claim to keep tabs on child predators. Can’t find them, don’t know where they are working, don’t know if they are working in any school . Nope, nope and nope.
